Drivers in the Town of Victor should prepare for ongoing detours and construction delays as the Thruway Authority continues bridge work across several key roads.
According to a July 21 update, County Road 9 is expected to reopen between mid to late August. Until then, traffic remains rerouted as crews complete bridge repairs.
Work on Brownsville Road will begin only after County Road 9 construction wraps up. Meanwhile, plans to repair the bridge on High Street have been postponed until 2026.
Motorists are encouraged to follow detour signs and plan alternate routes as the Thruway Authority progresses through the staggered construction timeline.
