A Marion man was arrested after deputies say he walked out of a Speedway store with two alcoholic drinks and a lighter hidden in his clothes.
Ryan J. Lawliss, 39, of Pembroke Drive, was charged with petit larceny after an investigation into a July 15 incident at 3584 State Route 21 in the town of Marion.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, security footage showed Lawliss concealing two Mike’s Harder Black Cherry Lemonades in the waistband of his shorts and a lighter in his pocket before bypassing all points of sale without paying.
Deputy B. Profetta arrested Lawliss on July 21. He was processed at the Wayne County Jail and released with an appearance ticket.
