The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office released details on a series of felony and misdemeanor cases resolved between July 9 and 15, with 11 individuals sentenced and four others pleading guilty ahead of scheduled hearings.
Among those sentenced was Jason Loid, who received 1.5 to 3 years in state prison after pleading guilty to attempted assault as a second felony offender. His arrest followed a December 2023 incident in East Bloomfield.
In a separate case, David Rojas was sentenced to five years in prison and five years probation for attempted burglary in Geneva. Rojas was arrested in late December following an incident earlier that month.
Animal cruelty also appeared on the docket. Joseph Shantz received one year in jail for each of two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and an additional year for failing to register as a sex offender. The jail terms for the animal cruelty charges will run concurrently, but the sex offender violation will be served consecutively.
Other sentences included:
- Krista Kiblin: six months in jail and five years probation for possessing a forged instrument.
- Jade Brown: five years probation for third-degree burglary.
- Melissa Delfi and Jacob Willis: both received five years probation and fines for driving while intoxicated-related offenses.
- Robert Dickinson: five years probation and 240 hours of community service for felony DWI.
- Blake Randolph: three years in prison and three years probation for assault and aggravated DWI.
- Glendaliz Arroyo: three years probation for possession of a forged instrument.
- Darrell Wright: one year in jail for petit larceny.
Four defendants entered guilty pleas and are awaiting sentencing:
- Emily Kerr, Joequell Solomon, and Queshon Gross for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Jakob Schuh for criminal contempt.
Sentencing dates for these cases range from September to December.
