Deputies said the Florida-based truck driver failed to yield, leading to the crash with the eastbound vehicle. The car’s driver, Ahmed Sulieman, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

The crash remains under investigation as officials work to determine potential charges or contributing factors.
