Former Seneca County sheriff backs Judge Karle for Supreme Court

Former Seneca County Sheriff Thomas H. Fox has endorsed Judge Kristina “Kitty” Karle in her campaign for New York State Supreme Court Justice in the 7th Judicial District.

Calling her a “trailblazer” and a “model of what a Supreme Court Justice should be,” Fox praised Karle for her long-standing dedication to fairness and public safety.

“Her experience, integrity, and commitment to public safety are unmatched,” Fox said. “I proudly and wholeheartedly support Judge Kristina ‘Kitty’ Karle in her candidacy.”

Karle, the first woman elected to serve as Ontario County Court Judge, has overseen nearly 7,000 cases in a legal career spanning more than 27 years. She previously worked as a special victims prosecutor and is known for her advocacy in cases involving child abuse and domestic violence.

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of our community,” said Karle. “I am deeply committed to upholding the law with fairness, compassion, and integrity.”

The 7th Judicial District includes eight counties in the Finger Lakes region: Ontario, Wayne, Seneca, Livingston, Steuben, Cayuga, Monroe, and Yates.
