A man riding an E-bike in the wrong lane hit a pickup truck during a turn on a Lyons street Thursday afternoon.
Jacob S. Bott, 19, was riding south in the northbound lane of Dickerson Street when he collided with a pickup truck turning left into a driveway, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of the truck, Ronald V. Wiggins, 40, was heading south on Dickerson Street at the time.
The crash caused minor damage to the front driver’s side of the truck. Bott was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital with minor back pain.
Deputies responded to the crash around 3:40 p.m. at 8 Dickerson Street.
