Ontario County deputies arrested two individuals Wednesday in connection with multiple outstanding bench warrants issued by courts across the region.
Jessica Gleeson, 36, of Canandaigua, was taken into custody at 9:11 a.m. on a warrant from Farmington Town Court. The charge stems from a violation of pretrial release related to an earlier arrest for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail and is being held for arraignment at CAP Court.
Later that afternoon, at 3:56 p.m., deputies arrested James Baker, 37, of Rochester, who was wanted on three separate bench warrants issued by Hopewell, Phelps, and Canandaigua town courts. Baker is facing a range of charges, including DWI, drug-related offenses, aggravated unlicensed operation, lane violations, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Both arrests were carried out by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Warrant Unit with assistance from Deputies Jacobs and Garman. Gleeson and Baker will appear in their respective courts at later dates.
