A Covert resident is facing multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant earlier this year, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Timothy Thompson announced that on June 23, 41-year-old Peter B. Wright was arrested in connection to a search of his residence conducted on January 10. Investigators charged Wright with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Authorities allege that Wright, a convicted felon, unlawfully possessed three firearms. He is also accused of possessing heroin.
Wright was arraigned in the Town of Covert Court and released on an appearance ticket.
