Canandaigua’s Fourth of July celebrations kicked off Wednesday with a symphony performance at CMAC and will continue through Sunday, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Events include live music, a parade, fireworks, and vintage train rides.
Today features Plant BINGO and music by The Old Hippies downtown, while Friday’s festivities begin with a 10 a.m. parade down Main Street. Saturday brings more live performances and a 9:45 p.m. waterfront fireworks show.
From Friday through Sunday, families can also ride restored 1940s trains via the Finger Lakes Rail Experience for a scenic trip through the region.
