A Bath woman was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly violating a court-issued protection order during a reported domestic incident.
According to the Village of Bath Police Department, officers responded to a residence on West Steuben Street at approximately 7 p.m. on June 18 for a domestic disturbance in progress. During the investigation, police took 22-year-old Cheyanne General into custody.
General was charged with one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Authorities allege she violated a full stay-away order of protection that had been issued against her.
Following her arrest, General was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment.
