Construction has begun on a luxury apartment complex in Macedon, signaling a major step forward for a long-anticipated development. According to the Times of Wayne County, Harbor Point — a 138-unit project by Pride Mark Homes — is rising along Canandaigua Road, bringing high-end canalside living to Wayne County.

Set to open in spring 2026, the community includes one- to three-bedroom units and a 7,000-square-foot clubhouse. Residents will have access to kayaking, trails, and courts for tennis and pickleball. The project coincides with a $4.5 million NY Forward grant boost for seven downtown improvements, including new housing, park upgrades, and small business support.

Developer Brian Keenan says Harbor Point complements nearby Erie Macedon Landing, enhancing both the marina and local tourism appeal. Town officials and residents are optimistic the project will transform the area into a vibrant residential and recreational hub.
