A Canisteo man was arrested this week following a grand jury indictment alleging sexual abuse of a child under 13.
Nathan A. Clark, 40, was taken into custody on June 11 by Steuben County deputies. Authorities charged Clark with sex abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
The charges stem from allegations that Clark sexually abused the child and placed the victim in danger. He was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and held on $5,000 cash bail.
