Seneca Falls Town Board candidate Emil Bove Jr. led a spirited and respectful town hall Thursday night at the Seneca Falls Community Center, drawing residents from across the community for a discussion focused on transparency, collaboration, and action.
The event, held June 5, gave voters the opportunity to ask questions and voice concerns while Bove shared his vision for a more united and effective local government.
“This was exactly the kind of event our town deserves—open, respectful, and full of great ideas,” Bove said. “I’m deeply grateful to the voters who showed up, spoke up, and reminded us all what civic engagement is about.”
Notably, Bove welcomed fellow Town Board candidates Ken Hilkert and Mason Hawker to participate in the evening’s dialogue. The inclusion of opposing candidates marked the event with a tone of mutual respect rarely seen in contemporary politics.
“Civility isn’t just a nicety—it’s essential to good governance,” said Bove. “We may not agree on every issue, but we share a commitment to this community, and that matters.”
With prior service on the Town Board and a background as a municipal attorney, Bove emphasized his readiness to deliver results through informed and practical leadership. As the campaign continues, he pledged to hold more public forums and keep direct engagement with voters at the center of his strategy.
