Lifelong keeps its place at Library Place

Lifelong, Ithaca’s center for older adults, will continue hosting programs at Library Place thanks to a new agreement with the building’s new owner, Park Grove Realty, according to Tompkins Weekly. The deal secures access to the community room for classes, wellness events, and social activities.

Executive Director Liza Burger said the space has allowed Lifelong to grow beyond its main facility. The partnership, which began in 2017 under former owner TravisHyde Properties, will now continue under Park Grove, which aims to support the center’s mission.

Library Place, located in downtown Ithaca, blends residential living with community offerings, including upscale dining and spa services. With this agreement, it remains a vibrant hub for wellness, connection, and aging with dignity.
