A Himrod resident is facing charges after allegedly threatening to burn down a county building and harm government employees, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Jayden H. Heitmann, 26, on May 30 following an investigation into the threats made against the Yates County Office Building and its staff. The incident occurred at a residence on Himrod Road.
Heitmann was charged with one count of making a threat of mass harm and two counts of second-degree harassment. He was processed at the Yates County Jail and released, pending a court appearance in the Town of Milo.
