A rollover crash sent emergency crews rushing to State Route 414 on Thursday afternoon after a vehicle failed to yield and fled the scene, police said.
The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department responded to the accident at approximately 12:01 p.m. and determined that the southbound vehicle caused the crash by failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
In an attempt to avoid the collision, the second vehicle rolled over multiple times. The driver of the southbound vehicle did not stay at the scene.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated both the driver and a passenger from the rolled vehicle for minor injuries. The roadway was briefly closed and reopened a short time later.
The Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance assisted at the scene. Authorities urge anyone with information about the accident to contact the Seneca Falls Police Department.
