Postseason action rolled on across the Wayne-Finger Lakes on Tuesday, and several more teams punched their tickets to the next round.
In softball, Bloomfield’s Ashlyn Wright and Lyons’ Keira Weber each struck out 15 batters to lead their teams to the Class C1 semifinals, while Dundee/Bradford exploded for seven sixth-inning runs to move on in Class C2. On the diamond, Naples edged Avoca-Prattsburgh to advance in Class D baseball. In boys lacrosse, Geneva erupted for 21 goals behind Ryland and Jack Dunham to dominate Newark, and Penn Yan cruised in Class D behind a seven-point night from Teagan Fingar.

Jordan Goff drove in the lone run for the Red Raiders with a double, while Anthony Porpora III added a double and struck out two in two innings of relief. Camron Quick started on the mound, striking out four over five innings. Quick and Noah Dapolito each singled, with Dapolito also drawing a walk and scoring a run. Pal-Mac wrapped up their season with a 14-5 record.

Oliver Bruen went 2-for-4 with a clutch go-ahead RBI double in the sixth to help the Big Green Machines rally from a 2-0 deficit. James Haremza and Wilhelm Schmitt each scored key runs, with Theron VanZandt tying the game on an RBI double in the fifth. Hunter Jacoby struck out three over four innings as the starter and added a single at the plate. Grady Grove contributed on both sides, scoring a run, collecting two hits, and striking out three over three dominant innings of one-hit relief. Naples advanced to the Class D semifinals, where they will face No. 1 Arkport-Canaseraga.

Gwen Dilorio led the way for the Tigers, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored. The eighth-grader delivered a two-run single in the first inning to set the tone early. Ava Panek, Madison Westerberg, and Haylee Beasley each collected two hits and combined to score seven runs. Mia Hartwell added a double, RBI, and run scored as part of a 2-for-4 performance, while Tangel Williams chipped in with two RBI and a run scored. Waterloo will face No. 1 Haverling in the Class B1 Final on Thursday at 5 p.m.

The Bombers used a three-run first inning to seize momentum and never looked back. Ashlyn Wright dominated in the circle, striking out 15 to earn the complete game victory. Addison Falsone led the Bloomfield offense with three hits, while Calla McCombs and Brianna Leitten each collected two hits and an RBI. Abby O’Brien contributed defensively with two standout plays at shortstop. The Bombers will take on No. 4 Caledonia-Mumford in the Class C1 semifinals on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Keira Weber delivered a dominant performance in the circle, striking out 15 and allowing just one hit over seven shutout innings to lead the Lions to victory in a pitchers’ duel. Weber also sparked the offense with a clutch two-run double in the sixth inning. Kamryn Bonnell added an RBI single in the frame, while Rylee Richardson chipped in a hit and two stolen bases. Ella Wellin recorded the lone hit for the Falcons. Lyons will square off with No. 11 Warsaw in the Class C1 semifinals on Thursday at 5 p.m.

The BraveScots erupted for seven runs in the sixth inning to pull away from the Cardinals and secure the win. Korrin Yeoman led the surge with three RBI, including a two-run single and an RBI groundout. Morgan Sutryk was dominant in relief, striking out six over 3.2 scoreless innings while allowing just two hits. Dundee/Bradford also drew 13 walks and stole five bases, with Alexis Rosno leading the way with four free passes. Red Jacket was paced by Carmin Bond, who went 3-for-4, and Hannah Chappell, who drove in a run with a double. The BraveScots will face No. 4 Bolivar-Richburg in the Class C2 semifinals on Thursday at 5 p.m.
