A man was taken into custody Friday after repeatedly failing to show up for court appearances in Canandaigua.
Benjamin Johnson, 35, of 820 Penfield Road in Rochester, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Canandaigua Town Court. Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies carried out the arrest, with assistance from Macedon Police.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson had missed multiple scheduled court dates related to vehicle and traffic violations.
Following his arrest, he was processed and held at the Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
