Wayne County driver had BAC 3x legal limit with child in car

A Fairport man is facing felony charges after State Troopers say he was driving with a child in the car while heavily intoxicated.

On Saturday, May 17, at 1:02 p.m., troopers from the Lyons barracks stopped a vehicle on Heidenreich Road in Arcadia. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Lynn O’Neil Carr of 5 Emory Rise, was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.25%—over three times the legal limit.

Carr was arrested and charged with felony aggravated DWI with a passenger under 16, as well as felony aggravated DWI and multiple traffic violations. Authorities say a child was in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

Carr was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and later released to a sober third party. He was issued appearance tickets for Arcadia Town Court on May 21. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
