An 18-year-old man died after his SUV veered off the road and caught fire in Cayuta, according to state police.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on May 20 along State Route 224.
State Police say the driver lost control on a curve, struck a tree, and the vehicle overturned before bursting into flames.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
