A Penn Yan man was arrested earlier this month following a domestic dispute that led to multiple charges, including unlawful imprisonment and criminal mischief.
Nathaniel D. Snyder, 29, was taken into custody on May 11 after Penn Yan Police investigated a physical domestic incident at his residence on Lawrence Street. According to police, Snyder broke a door during the altercation and physically restrained the victim from leaving.
He was later located at a different site in the village and arrested without incident. Snyder was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree. He was processed at the Penn Yan Police Department and transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
