Auburn woman held on $5K bail after violating court order during domestic

A woman from Auburn was arrested over the weekend and charged with felony criminal contempt after allegedly violating a court order in a domestic incident.

Deputies arrested 49-year-old Tina Goodluck on the morning of May 17 at a residence in the Town of Sterling, according to a release from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office. Goodluck was found at the home of a man she is barred from contacting under a full stay-away order of protection.

Sheriff Brian Schenck said Goodluck’s presence at the residence led deputies to take her into custody. Because she has previous convictions for criminal contempt in the second degree within the last five years, she was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a felony offense.

Following her arrest, Goodluck was processed at the Public Safety Building and taken to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sterling Court at noon on May 21.
