Rochester woman arrested for drug-impaired driving in Victor

Deputies arrested a Rochester woman early Saturday morning after she was found driving under the influence of drugs in the Town of Victor.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Tashonna M. Moore was stopped around 4:01 a.m. on May 17 near the intersection of State Route 96 and Lynaugh Road. Deputies conducted standardized field sobriety tests and determined Moore was impaired by drugs.

She was taken into custody and later issued multiple uniform traffic tickets, including charges for driving while impaired by drugs, driving while impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol, operating without insurance, and unlicensed operation. Additional violations included inadequate headlight, license plate lamps, muffler, tinted windows, and no front plate.

Moore was released to a sober party and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
