Hundreds gathered in Seneca Falls for the annual “Right to Run,” a race celebrating the historic fight for women’s voting rights. Participants of all ages reflected on the strength and legacy of early suffragists who paved the way for gender equality.
The event commemorates the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention and the eventual passage of the 19th Amendment. Organizers say the race symbolizes how one step—like that of Stanton and Mott—can spark lasting change when continued collectively.
With over 300 runners, the race served not only as a physical challenge but as a tribute to women’s empowerment, perseverance, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.
