The Between the Lakes Community Service Players are partnering with the Ovid Fire Department for this summer’s production of Something Rotten. Open auditions will be held May 12 and 14 at South Seneca Middle/High School.
Set in the 1590s, the hit Broadway comedy follows two brothers attempting to write the first-ever musical. Performances are scheduled for July 24–26, with proceeds supporting local fire services.
Participants should prepare a song excerpt and expect to dance and read from the script. The production continues the Players’ tradition of blending theater with charitable support.
