The Haven at Cayuga Counseling Services is throwing open its doors tonight for an open house celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
The event, happening from 5 to 7 p.m. at 17 East Genesee Street on the fourth floor, promises a festive carnival atmosphere complete with games, raffle baskets, face painting, and more. Guests can enjoy pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, chips, and drinks while getting an inside look at The Haven’s trauma-focused mental health programs for children ages 3 to 18 and their families.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or hygiene product to earn raffle tickets—one ticket per item. The open house offers a rare opportunity to meet the staff and learn about the services The Haven provides in a relaxed and fun setting.
