A Rochester woman was arrested Saturday after authorities said she stole merchandise from a sporting goods store at Eastview Mall in Victor.
Maritza Marie Mccullough, 39, of Rumson Road, was taken into custody following a response by Ontario County Sheriff Deputies and mall security to an in-progress theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Deputies said Mccullough exited the store at around 3:08 p.m. on April 26, passing all points of sale without paying for the merchandise. She was arrested for petit larceny, issued an appearance ticket, and banned from Eastview Mall property.
Mccullough is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
