A two-vehicle crash at a busy Hopewell intersection sent one driver to the hospital Saturday morning, according to Ontario County deputies.
Authorities identified Rokhsanna Sadeghi, 40, of Victor, as the driver who failed to yield at the intersection of State Route 21 and State Route 488, leading to the collision.
The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. when James McClelland, 24, of Bloomfield, was traveling northbound on State Route 21 in a 2009 Toyota RAV4. Deputies said Ms. Sadeghi was operating a 2019 Toyota Sienna eastbound on Schutt Road and entered the intersection without yielding.
Mr. McClelland was transported by Finger Lakes Ambulance to F.F. Thompson Hospital with minor injuries. Deputies cited Ms. Sadeghi for failing to yield when entering an intersection.
Manchester Fire Department assisted deputies by managing traffic control at the scene.
