The Cato-Meridian Central School District has appointed Dee Froio as its next superintendent, according to district officials. Froio will step into the role on July 1, bringing more than two decades of experience in education leadership.
Currently the assistant superintendent for teaching, learning, and accountability in Hannibal, Froio began her career as a social studies teacher in Cicero-North Syracuse. She has since held a range of administrative roles, including principal positions in Baldwinsville and Hannibal.
Froio expressed enthusiasm for her new role, saying she looks forward to shaping the district’s future in partnership with the community.
