President Donald J. Trump’s administration marked Week 13 with sweeping actions to boost U.S. manufacturing, secure the border, roll back diversity initiatives, and lower prescription drug costs.
The White House detailed these moves as part of its ongoing agenda to expand American opportunity and restore economic and national security.

U.S. manufacturing sees major wins
Several major companies announced shifts to domestic production and new investments:
- NVIDIA committed to building its AI supercomputers entirely in the U.S., part of a $500 billion AI infrastructure pledge.
- Abbott Laboratories will invest $500 million in facilities in Illinois and Texas.
- Honda plans to shift Civic production from Japan to the U.S., increasing domestic output by up to 30%.
- Ellwood Group, a forged metals manufacturer, reported a 35% sales surge after the Trump administration’s steel tariffs.
Border crossings hit record lows
U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded a 94% drop in illegal crossings at the southwest border in March — the lowest level on record.
ICE also deported multiple convicted criminals, including:
- A convicted rapist in Brooklyn
- A convicted murderer in Los Angeles
- A convicted arsonist in Virginia
The Department of the Interior also transferred 110,000 acres of federal land along the southern border to enhance security operations.

Trump signed orders to:
