Theatre444 Premieres Contemporary Musical In Pieces in Geneva

Theatre444 is bringing a fresh, emotionally charged musical to the Finger Lakes stage with the regional premiere of In Pieces, a modern exploration of love, loss, and identity by acclaimed composer Joey Contreras.

Performances will take place May 29–31 at 8 p.m., and June 1 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at the Geneva Community Center, 160 Carter Road in Geneva. Tickets are available at www.theatre444.com.

Told through a pop-infused score and the intersecting lives of eight characters, In Pieces journeys through the complexities of relationships across three defining chapters. Set in New York City, the musical traces each character’s personal crossroads—moments of choice, chance, and change that shape who they are and who they love.

Leading the cast are Alex Ramos (Rochester) and Michael Giovannini (Seneca Falls) as Charlie and Grey, friends on the edge of something deeper. Nick Bessette (Auburn) and Lauren McCall (Rochester) navigate the layered dynamic between Hunter and Sam, while Damon Fletcher (Waterloo) plays Austyn, who is learning to connect with others on a more meaningful level. Lily Flum (Rochester) portrays Jael in the aftermath of heartbreak, and Allauna Overstreet-Gibson (Geneva) stars as River, confronting emotional echoes from her past. Marley Mars (Seneca Falls) rounds out the ensemble as Alex, a character caught between cynicism and hope.

Directed by NYS Award-Winner Pam Rapoza, with vocal direction by Meredith Beckley, the production team includes Stage Manager Wendy Varricchio-Fletcher, Costume Designer Rachel Pugh, Sound Designer Aubryn Neubert, and Lighting/Technical Director RJ Rapoza, with support from Brooke Corsner.

Audiences can expect a heartfelt theatrical experience that mirrors the fragmented, ever-evolving nature of love. With universal themes and a vibrant cast, In Pieces promises to resonate with anyone who has ever pieced themselves back together after love.
