License Violation Leads to Arrest in Geneva

A Syracuse man was arrested Friday after a traffic stop on Castle Street uncovered multiple license violations, police said.

Nnylik J. Rice, 22, was taken into custody on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, unlicensed operation, and failure to keep right, according to Officer Brett Hall.


Police stopped Rice after observing him fail to keep right while driving. During the stop, officers discovered that Rice was operating a motor vehicle despite holding a suspended New York State non-driver’s license.

The arrest was categorized as a crime in progress. No further details were released.
