A Wayne County woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say a domestic incident escalated into violence in front of two children.

Lana T. Clark, 23, of Ridge Road in the Town of Ontario, was arrested April 14 following an altercation at a family member’s home, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies allege that Clark became upset during the visit and physically attacked a family member. The report states that Clark grabbed the victim by the throat multiple times before threatening to throw a bicycle at them. She then allegedly followed through with further violence, grabbing the victim and throwing them to the ground.

Two children witnessed the altercation and were visibly upset, investigators said.

Clark is charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Harassment in the Second Degree, and Menacing. She was taken to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment and will appear before a judge at a later date.

The case was investigated by Deputies J. Wilson, H. Ruffell, and L. Hendershot.
