Geneva’s Rolling Hills Project Adds More Homes, Removes Road

A revised plan for the Rolling Hills housing development in Geneva proposes 15 additional units and removes a major roadway connection, according to reporting by the Finger Lakes Times.

The changes increase housing units from 130 to 145 by replacing a planned community park with homes and eliminating a street that would have intersected Gambee Road. The redesign also shifts traffic flow to Carter Road and includes a pedestrian sidewalk to Gambee, saving an estimated $1 million in construction costs.

Residents expressed concerns about potential traffic increases and existing speeding issues on Carter Road. A formal study predicted only minor delays, and officials continue to urge the state to lower speed limits.
