Sodus man charged after threat to utility company

A man from Sodus was arrested after allegedly threatening a local utility company’s office following a service disconnection.

Deputies identified the suspect as 40-year-old Lance Hall, who was taken into custody by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the arrest followed a complaint stemming from a phone call Hall made to RG&E customer service on May 22. In that call, Hall allegedly threatened to harm the RG&E office building after his utilities were shut off.
