A two-car crash on Route 414 in Seneca Falls sent one person to the hospital Wednesday evening after a vehicle veered out of its lane and slammed head-on into a car waiting to turn.
The collision happened around 6:53 p.m. near Tops Plaza, according to police.
Police said a northbound vehicle was stopped in the turn lane, waiting to turn left into the McDonald’s parking lot, when a southbound vehicle crossed into the turn lane and struck it head-on. Airbags deployed in both vehicles.
One driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Geneva General Hospital for evaluation. A passenger involved in the crash was evaluated by emergency medical personnel at the scene and cleared with no injuries.
North Seneca Ambulance and Finger Lakes Ambulance assisted Seneca Falls police at the scene.
