Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire in a multi-family apartment building in the village of Clyde. The call came in at 10:24 a.m. on Glasgow Street.
The Clyde-Galen Fire District responded along with the Savannah and Rose fire departments to 161 Glasgow Street.
Responding units were advised of a possible person trapped inside as crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions at the rear of the building.
Firefighters requested a rapid intervention team from the Lyons Fire District as crews worked to extinguish the fire and search the apartments.
All occupants were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
Officials said the fire was contained to a second-level porch and one apartment, while other units sustained smoke and water damage.
Wayne County EMS, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, the Wayne County Fire Coordinators Office and the Red Cross assisted at the scene.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
