The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office recognized personnel and community members during its annual awards banquet. The event honored service, performance and contributions within the department.
Officials announced multiple award recipients across several categories during the ceremony.
Deputy Sheriff Ross Hall, Deputy Sheriff Brian Nowlan and Chaplain Michael Kelly received the Sheriff’s Commendation.
County Mechanic Paul Kasprzyk was awarded the Citizens Certificate, while Correction Officer Arthur Congdon received the Honorable Service Certificate.
The Exceptional Duty Award went to Deputy Sheriff Ashley McNeely, Correction Officer John-Michael Bianco and Correction Officer Jessica Jones.
Deputy Sheriff Brent Hulslander received the Life Saving Award.
Sergeant Patrick Tomassi was named Civil Deputy of the Year, and E-911 Operator Isaac McIlroy was named Dispatcher of the Year.
Correction Officer Alexander Pierce was named Correction Officer of the Year.
Sergeant Andrew Yessman received both DWI Deputy of the Year and Deputy of the Year honors.
