Penn Yan Academy junior Ruby Berry was honored as the Penn Yan Rotary Club’s Student of the Month on Jan. 30, recognizing her academic and athletic achievements.
Berry, a National Honor Society member, is passionate about science—especially chemistry—and plans to study biology in college with hopes of a medical career. She also shines on the field, playing varsity soccer and lacrosse.
Praised for her leadership and strong relationships, Berry was joined at the celebration by her parents and teacher Madelyn Morrell.
