A Seneca Falls man is facing felony charges after an investigation into a violent incident inside the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
Deputies say 28-year-old Luis R. Santiago was arrested on March 31 for assault in the second degree. The charge follows a dispute between two incarcerated individuals, during which Santiago allegedly caused physical injury to another person.
The incident was investigated by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say Santiago was processed at the county jail and is set to be arraigned in Seneca County’s Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
He is expected to return to court at a later date to respond to the charges.
