Cornell senior Maggie Pons reached the 100-point milestone, but Dartmouth’s fast start secured a 12-10 victory at Scully-Fahey Field. Dartmouth improved to 7-3 (1-2 Ivy), while Cornell dropped to 7-3 (2-1 Ivy).

The Big Green opened with five unanswered goals, keeping Cornell scoreless until the final seconds of the first quarter. Despite closing the gap to 9-7 early in the fourth and 12-10 late in the game, the Big Red struggled to gain possession as Dartmouth controlled the draws and received key saves from goalkeeper Gisele Todd, who made 11 stops.

Pons finished with a goal and two assists, reaching 101 career points. Classmate Caitlin Slaminko is close behind with 99 after posting two goals and one assist. Ellie Bergin, Alexa Donahoe, and Kylie Gelabert each scored twice, while Ella Wilmot tallied three assists, reaching 50 career helpers. Donahoe contributed three draw controls and two caused turnovers, and Ellie Horner made five saves with four ground balls.

Cornell outshot Dartmouth 32-24 and held a 17-12 ground ball edge, but Dartmouth’s 15-11 draw control advantage and 4-of-5 free-position shooting proved decisive. Catherine Erb led the Big Green with five goals, while Maya Kendall won eight draws.
