Auburn will spend over $2.2 million on road improvements this year while setting aside funds for the $8.4 million Lake Avenue bridge project, scheduled for 2026. The city has $4.3 million in available funds, including $3.5 million from state programs, and plans to roll over $2 million into next year to help fund future projects.
