The Bills are strengthening their defensive line with a new addition.
Free-agent defensive tackle Michael Hoecht has agreed to a three-year contract with Buffalo worth up to $24 million, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Monday night.
Hoecht, 27, initially joined the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent from Brown University in 2020. He spent his rookie year on the practice squad before earning a spot on the active roster in 2021, where he has remained since.
Last season, Hoecht played 57% of the Rams’ defensive snaps and contributed on special teams for 38% of the snaps. He is expected to provide similar depth for the Bills.
