Authorities are investigating a one-car crash that occurred Wednesday night in Yates County. James Newell, of Middlesex, was driving west on North Vine Valley Road when he failed to navigate a left turn onto Dinehart Cross Road.
His vehicle left the roadway, hit a road sign, crossed Dinehart Cross, and came to a stop in a field. Emergency responders transported Newell to the hospital for evaluation.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
