Residents in the Town of Williamson are experiencing water service disruptions after a water main break occurred on Lake Road near B. Forman Park. According to town officials, Water Department crews are actively working to repair the damage, and service will be restored as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, in the neighboring Town of Ontario, water service has been restored following an earlier main break that caused a loss of pressure. However, officials have issued a boil water advisory for areas west of Knickerbocker Road. Residents in the affected area are urged to boil water before consumption until further notice.
The Ontario Water Department is directing residents to www.ontariotown.org for updates and additional information. Those with questions can also contact the department at 315-524-2941, extension 700.
Officials in both towns are working to resolve the issues and ensure safe drinking water for all affected residents.
