The Four County School Boards Association will host a free virtual seminar on March 1 to educate prospective school board candidates on their roles and responsibilities. The event will run from 9-11 a.m. via Zoom.
With school board elections set for May 20, candidates must file their nominating petitions at least 30 days before the election (20 days for small cities). The seminar will feature a panel of current board members and administrators from Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties, sharing insights on their duties.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and can be completed online, by email, or by phone through the Four County School Boards Association.
