Syracuse men’s basketball (9-11, 3-6 ACC) begins a two-game West Coast trip tonight when it visits Stanford (14-6, 6-3 ACC) at 11 p.m.
The Orange are looking to bounce back after a tough 77-73 loss to Pittsburgh. Eddie Lampkin Jr. dominated the glass with a career-high 23 rebounds, the most by a Syracuse player since 1990, while J.J. Starling led with 16 points
Stanford, in its first ACC season, is riding a three-game winning streak, including a road win at North Carolina. The Cardinal are led by Maxime Raynaud, who tops the ACC in both scoring (20.5 PPG) and rebounding (11.7 RPG).
Syracuse and Stanford have met just once, with the Orange winning 69-63 in 2011.
