A Bronx man was arrested early Wednesday on an outstanding bench warrant for grand larceny and bail jumping, authorities said.
Abou Sangare, 20, was taken into custody at Interstate Exit 31 in Utica around 1:56 a.m. on Jan. 29 by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies. The warrant had been issued by Ontario County Court.
Earlier in the evening, Sangare had been involved in an incident with the New York State Police in Poughkeepsie. Following his arrest in Utica, he was transferred to the custody of Ontario County deputies and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held awaiting arraignment.
