Upon investigation, deputies determined Makley had been driving while intoxicated. A breath sample taken at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.13%. Makley was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.08% or higher, failure to maintain lane, and moving unsafely from a lane.

Makley was processed at the Wayne County Jail and released on appearance tickets. She is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public of the dangers of impaired driving and urges residents to prioritize safety on the roads.
