A brush fire escalated into a partial structure fire at an apartment complex on Conifer Drive in Canandaigua early Thursday morning, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency crews were dispatched to 2890 Conifer Drive, Apartment 101, at approximately 7 a.m. on January 24. Upon arrival, deputies and firefighters found smoking mulch and flames spreading to the north wall of a storage area. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, preventing further damage to the structure.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including the Canandaigua Fire Department, Cheshire Fire Department, Canandaigua Ambulance, and the Ontario County Fire Coordinators.
No injuries were reported.
